If you know me, you know I rarely sit still for a two-and-a-half-hour movie. But Bau, Artist at War held me from the first moment to the last. I laughed, I cried, and I walked away inspired — and I cannot wait to see it again. I hope you'll join me.
Antisemitism and intolerance are rising again, and this film is more than history: it's a call to remember, to stand strong, and to pass these stories on to the next generation. Bring your family, your friends, and your hearts. Together we can honor the past and carry its lessons into the future.

Bau, Artist at War tells the true story of Joseph Bau — a brilliant artist and master forger who used his gifts to save lives during the Holocaust. In the Plaszow concentration camp, he created false documents that gave others a chance to escape certain death. Even there, he found love: he and Rebecca, whose courage matched his own, were secretly married inside the camp, an act of defiance later immortalized in Schindler's List.
The film follows Joseph through terror, resilience, and triumph — part war drama, part espionage thriller, part love story. With Emile Hirsch and Inbar Lavi in the lead roles, it's a story of bonds that even war could not destroy.
