In January, Cheryl Dorchinsky, who founded AIC and runs it, flies to Israel with Kirsten Abrahamson, our treasurer. They land on 11 January, spend twelve days delivering aid, and pay their own way there and back.
What they carry is up to us. $36, for example, could stock socks and underwear in the closet at Shuva Junction, where soldiers stop on their way in and out of Gaza. $180 could bring toys to kids in hospital. $360 could help stock rehab supplies for soldiers recovering from their wounds.
If you'd rather send the thing itself, the Amazon wish list is what goes in the suitcases, starting with trauma kits. Order by 1 January so it reaches Cheryl before she leaves.
The goal is $10,000, and the bar on the page shows where we are: atlantaisrael.org/mission
A gift goes wherever AIC needs it most unless you pick Missions & Humanitarian Relief on the form. Pick that, and it's kept for the mission.
Thank you.
